Folks,I am considering putting a 3ph on the back of this tractor but haven't been able to find a source on the web with any implements (dirt scoop, grader etc.).Does anyone know of such a source?Thanks in advance.Larry

First what kind of tractor are you looking to put a 3 pt on. For a source of small implements, try Brinly-Hardy (www.brinly.com). They make small 3pt and sleeve hitch plows, disks, back blades and box blades. I have these for my 22.5 hp Craftsman and have used the plow and disk behind by JD 790 with a home-made adapter. They work well considering thier small size.

I have an impression that Cat 0 is not a general standard like Cat 1 and higher. Generally, Cat 1 and higher implements will work on any tractor with the same category hitch, but that may not be true for Cat 0. I believe that some Cat 0 implements are made by L&G tractor manufacturers and are intended to be mounted only on their tractors. ....

Category "0" is specified in ASAE standard S320.1. In addition to Brinly-Hardy, try Agri-Fab (http://www.agrifab.com/, Land Pride (http://www.landpride.com/) and Woods (http://www.woodsonline.com/) for implements.

I took a quick look around several implement manufacturer sites to refresh my memory. I didn't see any Cat 0 implements--doesn't mean they aren't there of course. One possibility is that they just aren't listed on the site, and e-mails to the manufacturer might turn up something.
Some Cat 1 implements might work on Cat 0 machines if the hitch arms provide enough clearance and width, and the link pins are replaceable. The Cat 1 pins could just be replaced with Cat 0 pins. Possibly manufactures or dealers can supply them with Cat 0 pins. Of course, PTO implements would likely have a problem with different PTO shaft standards. Possibly a PTO shaft could be fabricated to connect a Cat 0 shat to a Cat 1 implement. Shear pins suitable for the Cat 0 PTO would have to be used.
I guess this kind of adaptation could be done, but there still might be problems with Cat 0 hitch lift capacity and tractor power for many available Cat 1 implements. An alternative might be going to manufacturers who make Cat 0 tractors and see what their implements are like.

Tom, You were correct in your first post in this thread, and there is not as strong of a standard with Cat 0 hitches. Where most if not all of the deviations are seen are in the PTO speed and rotation. There are a number of propriatary cat 0 setups out there, and if I remember right, deere was one of them. I think you are going to see a move towards more cat 1 hitches on L&G tractors because of the standard that exists. I good example of this I think is the new Kubota BX series, although I would offend Kubota loyalists by calling it a L&G tractor, but it is ushering in a new category of sub-compact machines. ....

What tractor are you planning on putting the hitch on? and what is the lift capacity of the hitch. The Kubota Bx Cat 1 hitch is actually Cat 0 Spacing. You can use most light Cat 1 impliments on a Cat 0 hitch by changing the pins to pins that have a 7/8" thread and 5/8" pin and when the pins are installed they point at each other. Landpride, Vassar, and gearmore all have boxblades, rear blades and landscape rakes that will work with a Cat 0 hitch. Vassar has a scoop but I am going to make a bucket that mounts on my three point this summer, a hydrolic top link will dump it. Another thing to consider is that you will need weights on the front of the tractor. ....

Thanks for the input. I have just purchased a used JD455 and while it doesn't currently have a 3 point hitch I was wondering what I could do if it had one. I am most interested in a dirt scoop that I could use for moving material around. I haven't been able to find a site for vassar however. ....
